A: There are five members -

Claire - Female Lead & backing vocals
Michael - Guitar and Male lead vocals
John - Bass guitar
Alistair - Keyboards & backing vocals

Q: How many breaks will the band take?

A: The band will take one 30 minute break which we can arrange to coincide with any buffet on the night.

A: We can leave background music on, if you wish, and you can of course let us know what type of music you would prefer.

Q: Do you play at many Weddings?

A: Yes. Around 90% of our bookings are Weddings. We consider it our speciality.

Q: How does the band dress for a Wedding Reception?

A: The men in the band wear tuxedos for the first half of the evening and formal trousers and shirts for a more relaxed look in the second half.

Claire wears formal evening dresses throughout.

Q: How long does the band typically play for?

A: A typical evening booking would be four hours, with one break (see above). If you wish to extend this time then arrangements can be made with the band. These arrangements are subject to an increased fee.

Please remember to confirm the times well in advance with the venue, as the band cannot arrange this for you.

Q: Is it possible to view the band?

A: Yes. We encourage potential clients to come to our performances if this is possible. Please contact us to find out when and where our next performance is.

Hitched do not send out recordings as we feel this does not do justice to the live experience. Come and see us and judge for yourselves!

Q: What time will the band arrive prior to the function?

A: The band will arrive at the venue no later than 90 mins before the performance is due to begin.

This allows us ample time to set up our equipment, carry out a sound check and, of course, speak to you or the event co-ordinator.

Q: I'm worried that the volume will be too loud for some of the older guests.

A: Rest assured! The band monitor the volume throughout the course of the evening to ensure that it does not constrain the atmosphere. We are happy to reduce the volume if you or your guests are uncomfortable with the level.

Q: I want a particular song for my first dance but it is not listed on the band's Songlist. Are the band willing to take requests?

A: Yes. As long as you provide the band with a MINIMUM of six weeks notice we promise to play your special request. Due to the level of demand, we are unable to guarantee more than one special request per booking.

Q: How much do the band charge?

A: We are competitively priced, with the charge varying depending on location and length of performance time. If you would like a quote, simply contact the band with details of your requirements.

We are all experienced and professionally-minded musicians who love what we do, and who love making your wedding just that little bit more special. By all means shop around and compare prices, but remember that what you really need to compare is how the bands sound, how they perform and how they ensure that your entertainment is one of the high points of your day. You can only do that by coming to see us play and we strongly encourage you to do that. It is no coincidence (and no exaggeration!) that almost all of the people who come to hear and see us play, make a booking there and then.
